The Leadership Retreat brings together like-minded sales leaders who are invested in creating best-in-class sales teams as well as their own leadership development. Unique to other conferences, the Retreat focuses solely on solving the challenges facing our profession in a small, intimate group setting.

Relaxed Environment

The goal of the Retreat is to learn, share and network with your peers in a relaxed environment. No need for your business casual attire, think casual Saturday! We encourage participants to take this time away from the office to share their own best practices as well as learn from others in a no-pitch zone environment! Leave the egos and products at the airport!

Large Group Sessions

During the Retreat, attendees spend time together as a large group for Think Tanks, a Special Guest Speaker, networking, meals and more. Each attendee has the opportunity to introduce themselves to the group in hopes of making key connections throughout the Retreat that you can utilize during and after the event.

Guest Speaker

A special guest speaker will join the event to share a deep dive in to a top challenge. More information to be released as we approach the event.

Workgroup Time

Participants will be split into three workgroups based on the size of their sales teams. Workgroups will be tightly focused on the challenges you face and solutions you can use in your business.

Networking Activity

Three activities are offered during the downtime on Wednesday afternoon. Participants have the choice between Golf, Clay Shooting, and Horseback Riding with fellow attendees. In addition, there are walking and hiking trails as well as a spa on site.

Top Tip Takeaways

A Retreat favorite, the Top Tip Takeaways are a time to share with participants the tips you learned that you will take back your organization. Often times, these quick tips provide you with additional ideas you may have missed during the event.

Challenge Think Tanks

In a rapid fire format, participants share their top challenge with fellow participants. Ask any past attendee and they will tell you – this is a session you won’t want to miss! Getting feedback specific to your challenge from peers often facing the same challenge is priceless.

Staying Connected

Retreat attendees are encouraged to stay connected following the event. Notes from all sessions are shared and we often see participants using the connections made to bounce off new ideas, share research, and more.

Who Should Attend?

The Executive Retreat is limited to 60 practitioners who have leadership responsibility over Sales or a related functional area. Any senior leader from Director to Executive looking to improve their efficiency, increase ROI, and streamline processes are encouraged to attend. In order to maintain the integrity of the Retreat as a practitioner-based event, individuals who represent vendors, consulting firms, recruiters or anyone who sells and/or markets into the Inside Sales community are respectfully asked not to register.

Networking with your peers is at the heart of the Retreat, and there are ample opportunities for you to get to know and learn from your fellow leaders. Networking opportunities include:

Tuesday Lunch

After the first few hours of learning, participants will gather for a large group lunch. This is a good time to meet those who you have identified as facing the same challenge as you, or possibly those who you can help solve their challenge based on your experience.

Tuesday Night Social Hour

Following a short break after Day 1 group sessions conclude, attendees will gather for an informal social hour with drinks and heavy appetizers. Often, attendees will make plans for a later dinner with peers or continue to the resort lounge.

Wednesday & Thursday Breakfast

Prior to the daily sessions beginning, participants are invited to breakfast where they can participate in Birds-of-a-Feather Roundtable discussions. These discussions offer time to take a deeper dive into your challenges and ask for the assistance of your peers in solving it.

Wednesday Afternoon Activities

During Retreat planning, attendees are asked to pick from three activities to participate in with their peers. Participants have the choice between Golf, a networking “Beach Hang”, and a Jacksonville Craft Beer Tour.

Wednesday Evening Cocktail Hour & Dinner

Once everyone has returned from their afternoon activities and had the chance to freshen up, we will gather for a cocktail hour. This is a great time to hear about the activities of the day, catch up with fellow participants, and relax. Dinner features a few short words from AA-ISP Founder & Chairman, Bob Perkins and may have a special guest as well! Dinner will be wrapped up before 9:30PM so that participants can continue to the lounge or get some rest before the final Retreat day!
