Cathy Jo Borgman began her career in the insurance industry over 25 years ago as a personal lines underwriter. Since that time, she has worked on both the carrier and independent agency sides of the business. In addition to underwriting, she also has held positions in compliance, sales, and management. She has been responsible for inside sales teams for the past 15 years, including starting many of those teams from scratch.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Diego. She obtained her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Customer Service designations in 2000. She also holds the Fellow Life Management Institute designation.
Cathy has realized the benefits of sales education in her career and enjoys helping others broaden their knowledge and understanding of the business. Cathy lives in a small town outside of Omaha and when she’s outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and Golden Retriever in the outdoors.
I am deeply passionate about growing start-ups and giving small businesses the same tools and resources that are often reserved for much larger organizations. Throughout my career, I have been an insightful entrepreneur and business leader, launching several start-ups and often outselling much larger competitors, despite smaller budgets. My passion for creating new sales & customer support processes and cutting edge marketing techniques generated industry leading sales growth and top line production in multiple industries.
I have earned a reputation for leading great sales and customer service teams through consistent, diligent efforts to help our clients have incredible experiences and develop long-term client relationships and loyalty. More recently, I've brought my "think small and win big" methodology to Foley to drive small business success at scale.
At Tigerpaw, we create economic opportunity for our clients through our fully-integrated business automation platform. From sales and marketing automation to inventory management to time tracking and point of sale, our products enable business owners to focus on building their businesses, not just putting out fires in every department.
On a personal level, I am a devoted husband and father of 2 and love being outdoors, working out, and playing almost any sport. If I can't beat you at a sport, I'll work at it until I can. :) Even ping pong...
