I have carved out a career in inside sales as a leader, representative, and player-coach. It is a true pleasure to guide and assist other inside sales professionals in their career endeavors and to continue to empower my team members to reach and exceed their objectives. I have enjoyed 20 years of inside sales experience with more than half of that coming as a manager, coach, and leader. As a player-coach, I thrive on getting in the trenches with my team by making outbound calls, devising prospecting strategies, and executing campaigns that will bring tremendous value to our prospects, customers, and clients. In addition to dedicating my career to the inside sales cause, I have been married for 15 years to my wonderful wife, Vered, and we have three kids (Jonathan 14, Shea 12, and Jayden 4). As a former high school and college basketball coach, I have found ways of staying in the coaching profession by coaching my kids’ sports teams. I take on the same approach with my kids’ teams as I do with my Inside Sales Teams. We strive to improve our skills by learning new techniques and practicing like a champion. Yes, we all want to win, but it’s how you practice and prepare that will make you a winner. As an inside sales professional or an athlete, you must prepare, practice, and focus on the areas of needed improvement while also continuing to accentuate your strengths. I believe that there is a direct correlation between your ATTITUDE and your SUCCESS. It all starts with attitude, and if you have the right one, you work hard, you study and learn, you can achieve just about anything in your career and in life. This is the attitude that I have exhibited and brought to my teams throughout my inside sales career, and I look forward to impacting the lives of many more inside sales professionals in the future. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, drums, and I am difficult to beat in a game of foosball.
Gretchen is relentless when it comes to creating unique strategies, acquiring and applying data and providing results. A consummate professional, Gretchen thrives on leveraging the latest in digital marketing and sales strategies to drive ROI for all of her clients. Her career spans more than eighteen years in the marketing industry, beginning her career within the hospitality sector.
Gretchen has earned a number of digital marketing certifications, including; Hubspot Sales Software, Customer Acquisition Specialist, and Customer Value Optimization Specialist, and Community Management Specialist. She most recently completed a certification by Cornell University in the Psychology of Leadership.
Gretchen holds a bachelors degree from the University of Cincinnati. She is a native of Michigan and currently lives in Denver, CO with her two daughters.
Jen leads the North America Marketing and Inside Sales team at Alcatel Lucent Enterprise. Throughout her career she has built powerhouse teams that deliver impressive volumes of sales opportunities, increased brand awareness in a competitive industry, and launched go-to-market campaigns that generate millions in sales pipeline. Prior to ALE, Jen worked in demand gen and inside sales leadership roles at Cherwell Software, BMC Software, Numara Software, Pilgrim Software, and others. As a guest lecturer for BrightTalk’s Women in Tech series, she shares her perspective and learned wisdom as a senior-level woman in the competitive tech space. Jen lives in Denver with her husband and 3 children, where she enjoys a good glass of wine, volunteers with Make a Wish Foundation and is a back to back Fantasy Football champion.
